LIGHT AS A FEATHER ROLLS 
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. warm water
1 pkg. or cake yeast
1 egg, beaten
3 1/4 c. unsifted flour

Scald milk, stir in sugar, salt and butter. Cool to lukewarm. Measure warm water in large bowl; sprinkle or crumble in yeast. Stir until dissolved, add warm milk mixture, egg and half the flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in additional flour. Knead until smooth. Let rise until double in size. Make into rolls. Let rise again and bake.
