SNOWFLAKE COOKIES 
1 c. sifted flour
1 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. clear corn syrup
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

In a bowl combine flour and coconut. In a pot combine sugar, corn syrup and butter. Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Slowly blend in flour mixture. Add vanilla.

Using a teaspoon form dough into tiny circles about 3 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Remove sheet to pan. Let stand 5 minutes. Remove cookies carefully with a greased spatula. Yields 4 dozen.
