ITALIAN VEAL & PEPPERS 
1/4 c. oil
1 tbsp. butter, melted
3/4 lb. veal, cubed
1 med. onion, cut in strips
1 med. green pepper, cut in strips
1/4 - 1/2 c. tomato sauce
1/2 - 3/4 lb. mushrooms
1 tsp. oregano

Combine oil and butter in skillet; brown veal in mixture at high heat 7 to 10 minutes. Add oregano, onions, pepper, tomato sauce and mushrooms. Lower heat; simmer until vegetables are tender. If sauce becomes too thick, add a little water or more tomato sauce. Can be eaten as a main dish or put into an Italian roll for great sandwich.
