ITALIAN VEAL & PEPPER 
1 1/2 lbs. boneless veal (or chicken)
3 tbsp. salad oil
1 chopped onion
1 chopped green pepper
3 oz. can mushrooms
16 oz. can tomatoes
1 sm. can tomato sauce
1 tsp. basil
Salt & pepper

Brown veal in salad oil. Add onion and green pepper. Cook until soft. Add mushrooms, tomatoes, tomato sauce and spices. Cover and simmer until tender. Thicken with cornstarch if necessary. Serve over klushki noodles, regular noodles or rice.
