ANGEL FLAKE BISCUITS 
5 c. flour
4 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 pkg. dry yeast
2 tbsp. water (lukewarm)
2 c. buttermilk

Mix dry ingredients and cut in shortening. Dissolve yeast in warm water and milk mix in buttermilk. Add dry ingredients to yeast mixture. Roll dough about 1/2 inch thick. Cut into desired sizes. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes in lightly greased pan. All or part of dough may be kept in refrigerator for several days and bake later. Yield: 30 biscuits.
