HAWAIIAN CARROT CAKE 
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. mace
1 1/3 c. vegetable oil
4 eggs
2 c. shredded carrots
1 c. crushed pineapple, undrained

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix at low speed until thoroughly moistened (about 2 minutes). Continue beating at high speed for 5 minutes. Pour into greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Cool 15 minutes and remove from pan. Cool completely and frost with Spicy Sugar Frosting.
