APPLE PRUNE SAUCE 
6 golden delicious apples, peeled and diced
1/4 c. water
1 1/2 c. cooked prunes, seeded and chopped
1/4 c. prune juice from cooked prunes
3 tbsp. orange juice
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. sugar

Cook apples with the water until tender. Add rest of ingredients and cook until heated through. Remove from heat and cool. Refrigerate in covered jar. Will keep 2-3 weeks in refrigerator. Good served with ham and beef.
