MICROWAVE APPLE SAUCE 
2 lbs. apples, peeled, cored and sliced (about 6 c.)
1/3 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. lemon juice

In a 2-quart microwave dish put apples, water and lemon juice uncovered on HIGH 10-12 minutes, stirring twice until apples are very soft. Add remaining sugar and drain. Stir with a wooden spoon to break up the apple pieces or mash them. Makes 2 cups.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
