SHERBET DESSERT 
1/2 gal. orange sherbet ice cream
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 stick butter
1 lg. pkg. pecan sandies cookies

Thaw ice cream and Cool Whip; mix. Crush cookies and mix with melted butter. Put 3/4 of cookie mix in 9 x 13 inch pan; reserve remaining cookie mixture. Put ice cream mixture over cookie mixture. Top with remaining cookie mixture. Freeze.
