HOMEMADE HUMMUS | |
2 c. Goya chick peas, drained and rinsed 1/4 c. tahini 3 tbsp. lemon juice 1 tbsp. minced garlic 1/4 tsp. ground cumin (optional) 1/4 c. chopped parsley Salt and pepper to taste Place chick peas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic and cumin in a food processor or blender. Blend until mixture is a creamy puree, adding tablespoons of cold water if needed. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve as a dip with pita bread or cut - up vegetables. |
