CAROL'S SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 garlic buds, chopped
2 oz. olive oil
1 lg. can Italian tomatoes
1 can tomato paste
1 tbsp. sugar
1 lb. cooked ground beef
Salt, pepper & cayenne to taste

Saute onion and garlic in olive oil until tender, but not too brown. Add remaining ingredients plus the tomato paste can filled with water. Cook slowly at least 2 to 3 hours. Add additional seasoning to taste. Serve over spaghetti.

I put sauce in a crock pot and let it cook all day on "low".
