CAROL'S EASY NO BAKE/LO FAT
LASAGNA
 
Lasagna noodles, uncooked
12 oz. jar Ragu spaghetti sauce
1 lb. browned ground beef, pork or turkey
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Cottage cheese (sm., 1% low fat)
Chopped onion
Garlic powder
Slices of Monterey Jack cheese
Shredded Mozzarella cheese
Parmesan cheese

Lightly grease 9"x13" pan. Layer in following order. Noodles, uncooked. 1/2 jar of Ragu, 3/4 cooked meat, 1 can cream of mushroom soup (works best if spooned out in small amounts, don't worry if you don't get it everywhere). Noodles, uncooked. Cottage cheese, chopped onion, 1 to 2 tablespoons garlic powder. Slices of Monterey Jack cheese. (I have substituted Mozzarella here at times.) Noodles, uncooked. Remainder of sauce, meat, and chopped tomatoes (optional). Mozzarella, Parmesan cheese.

Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees or until done. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. This recipe freezes well and can be cooked directly from freezer with little additional time.
