FRENCH APPLE PIE 
7 c. sliced apples, peeled
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tbsp. butter

Combine apples, sugar, cinnamon and pile into unbaked 9 inch shell. Dot with butter. Mix: 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Cut in 1/2 cup butter until crumbly and sprinkle over apples. Bake at 400 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes until apples are tender.
