1/2 c. butter 1/4 c. granulated sugar 3 tbsp. all-purpose flour 1/2 c. evaporated milk 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 2 (10 oz.) frozen whole kernel corn, thawed 2 eggs, beaten Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in saucepan, mix sugar and flour, stir into melted butter, stir in milk, eggs and baking powder, mix well. Stir in corn and pour mixture into 2 quart buttered casserole. Bake in oven until top is golden brown. Note: This recipe can be prepared in the microwave oven. Melt butter, then cook the finished dish on High power 10 to 15 minutes. It will not brown, but will have a great fresh taste. If you want to freeze this dish only partially cook it and finish cooking when served. |
