BEACON HILL COOKIES 
6 oz. semisweet chocolate chips
2 egg whites at room temperature
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. white vinegar
3/4 c. chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt chocolate chips over hot water; cool slightly. Beat two egg whites with a dash of salt until foamy. Gradually add sugar, beating well. Continue beating until stiff peaks form. Beat in vanilla and vinegar. Fold in chocolate and walnuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet immediately. Makes about 36 small cookies.
