BASIC MEATBALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
2 slices dry bread, crumbled
1/3 c. finely chopped onion
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. catsup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. curry powder (optional)

Combine beef, bread crumbs and onion. In a small bowl beat remaining ingredients together. Add mixture to the beef and mix thoroughly. Shape into meat balls about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.

Place half of the meatballs in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. Cover dish with waxed paper; cook in microwave oven 4 minutes. Remove cooked meatballs and set aside. Repeat with remaining meatballs. Drain liquid. Makes 30.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
