CHEWY GINGER COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 eggs
1/2 c. molasses
1 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. ginger

Roll in 1 inch balls and dip in sugar. Bake 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees. Do not overbake or the cookies will be crunchy.
