INDIVIDUAL LASAGNAS | |
6 oz. Prince shells (lg. 24 shells) 1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1/4 c. minced onion 1/4 c. bread crumbs 1 egg 1/2 tsp. French's herb seasoning 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese 16 oz. jar spaghetti sauce with mushrooms 8 oz. Ricotta cheese 2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Add 1 tablespoon salt to 2 quart rapidly boiling water. Gradually add shells so that water continues boiling. Boil uncovered, 15 minutes. Stir occasionally. Drain hot water then rinse shells in cold water. Place shells individually on paper towel to dry. In the meantime, brown ground beef. Add minced onion, bread crumbs, egg and seasonings. Cook on medium heat 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in Parmesan cheese and 1/4 cup spaghetti sauce. Continue cooking 5 more minutes. Spread 1/4 cup spaghetti sauce in bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Stuff shells with heaping tablespoon meat mixture and 1 tablespoon ricotta cheese. Place in pan close together. Top with 1/2 remaining spaghetti sauce. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and the remaining spaghetti sauce. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. |
