BIRD'S SEAFOOD CHOWDER 
1 lg. diced onion
1 lg. diced bell pepper
1 stalk diced celery
1/4 c. bacon drippings
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
2 (16 oz.) cans mixed vegetables
Dash of oregano
Dash of sage
1 tsp. Mex-I pepper
1 tsp. instant coffee
1 c. catsup
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 lb. diced white fish fillet
1 1/2 lb. peeled med. shrimp
3 crabs, cleaned and halved

Saute onions, peppers and celery in bacon drippings. Add all remaining ingredients, except seafood, and bring to a boil. Simmer for 30 minutes, add seafood and cook for another 15 to 20 minutes.
