4 c. warm water 3/4 c. sugar 3 wet cake Fleischmann's yeast 1 tsp. salt 4 tbsp. butter 10 c. flour UTENSILS: Large crock Wooden spoon Mix and add 10 cups flour. Mix together until all flour is used up, turn on floured board and knead for a while. Place back in crock bowl that has been greased with butter. Let rise and punch. Do this 2 or 3 times, letting rise each time you punch down. Turn dough on floured board and cut in half. Let rise, cut each half in half, this makes 4 dough balls. Let set about 5 minutes. Then use rolling pen to flatten dough balls. Mash out air bubbles. Place each in butter greased bread pan. Bake at 400 degrees. |
