CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
5 eggs
6 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream butter and shortening. Add sugar, one cup at a time. Mix well. Add 1 egg at a time. (Beat well after each addition.) Sift dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa). Add milk and flour alternately, beating slowly. Add vanilla. Bake 85 minutes at 350 degrees in tube pan.
