PEPPERMINT FROSTING 
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. butter, softened
3 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. peppermint extract

Mix all ingredients until smooth and of spreading consistency.

Very easy. My daughter used this recipe and replaced the extract with 6 crushed up candy canes which gave it a nice crunchy texture.

Love the recipe. Easy to make. I put peppermint snow (basically crushed candy canes) on top to add a nice look. Another option is to add a little red food die to make it a pink color!
