PEPPERMINT ICE CREAM DESSERT 
1/2 gal. peppermint ice cream
Vanilla wafers
1 stick of butter
3 eggs
2 sq. bitter chocolate
3 oz. powdered sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Butter 9 x 13 inch cake pan and line generously with rolled vanilla wafers. Beat together until fluffy: 1 stick butter, 3 egg yolks, and 3 ounces powdered sugar. Add in order 2 squares melted bitter chocolate, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, 1/2 cup chopped nuts, 3 beaten egg whites. Sprinkle with some rolled vanilla wafer crumbs. Pat in freezer until frozen. Spread 1/2 gallon softened peppermint ice cream over chocolate mixture. Top with rolled vanilla wafers if desired.
