SPICY SAUSAGE CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. hot bulk sausage 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1/2 c. chopped onion 2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes 1 1/2 c. uncooked macaroni 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese Brown sausage in skillet. Pour off excess fat. Reduce heat. Add pepper, onion, tomatoes, raw macaroni and seasonings. Cover and simmer 1/2 hour. Uncover and simmer 10 minutes more. Spoon into greased 2 quart casserole. Sprinkle with cheese. Place under broiler until cheese melts. |
