HOT CLAM SPREAD | |
2 cans minced clams (7 1/2 oz.) with juice 1 c. bread crumbs 1/2 lb. melted butter 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. parsley flakes Garlic salt to taste Dash of salt and pepper 4 oz. Mozzarella cheese, grated 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese Combine all ingredients, except cheese, until gloppy. Put in 9 inch oven-proof dish. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and the grated Mozzarella cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Its good when spread on Triscuit crackers. Preparation time: 20 minutes. Can do ahead, then bake when ready to serve. |
