MEATBALLS AND SWEET & SOUR SAUCE 
2 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1/2 c. milk
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. salt (may be part garlic salt)

Combine the meat, crumbs, milk, eggs and salt into a bowl. Mix lightly to blend. Shape the meat about the size of golf balls. Bake on shallow pans in a 500 degree oven for about 7-9 minutes. Remove and add to Sweet & Sour Sauce. If you need to reheat, reheat sauce and meat together over low heat. Makes about 3 dozen.

Variation: Appetizer Meatballs - Shape the meat into balls about the size of large marbles. Arrange on shallow pans. Put into a 500 degree oven for 4-5 minutes, or until lightly browned. Remove and add to the prepared sauce; include any pan juices. You may cool and reheat to serve. Makes about 100.

SWEET & SOUR SAUCE:

2 cans (14 oz. each) pineapple chunks, drained (reserve liquid)
1 1/4 c. reg. strength chicken broth
1/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 c. thinly sliced green onions
3 green peppers, seeded & cut in 1" squares
1 tbsp. catsup
1/4 c. cornstarch
