HOME COOKED SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE 
2 cups peach preserves
2-3 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. mustard
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. smoke flavoring

Mix ingredients and put over a low flame, long enough for the sugar to melt.

I use this sauce on my baked chicken, which is cut criss-cross all over the top. Pour the sauce over the chicken, and continue baking chicken until done. I usually cook mine about an hour to an hour and a half in a covered casserole.
