1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. all purpose flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
48 miniature peanut butter candies (Reeses brand)

Cream butter, peanut butter, sugars, egg and vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients until blended. Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Press into miniature (1 1/2 inch) muffin tins. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately press one miniature peanut butter cup candy into each hot cookie crust; allow to cool. Makes 4 dozen.
