STRING BEAN PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
8 oz. tomato sauce
1 c. green bean (French style)
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. salt
8 oz. can crescent dinner rolls
1 egg, beaten
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Brown ground beef, onion, and pepper, then drain. Stir in tomato sauce, beans, garlic salt. Simmer while preparing the crust. Place crust in ungreased 9-inch pie plate. Combine egg and 1 cup of cheese, then spoon hot meat mixture into crust. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 20-25 minutes.
