1 (16 oz.) pkg. Oreo cookies
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
8 oz. Hershey's chocolate syrup
Chopped nuts

Crush Oreo cookies into crumbs. (Putting cookies into plastic bag and pounding them with a meat mallet works well.) Mix Oreos with softened butter, reserving 1/2 of crumbs for topping. Spread in a 9 x 13 inch pan to form bottom layer. Spread ice cream over Oreo layer.

Then pour Hershey's syrup over ice cream. Sprinkle nuts and last 1/4 of crushed Oreos on top. Put in freezer until ready to serve.
