KARNABITT - CAULIFLOWER | |
1 lg. cauliflower 1/4 c. butter 1 lg. onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 8 oz. tomato sauce or stewed tomatoes or tomato juice Salt & pepper to taste Place cauliflower in large saucepan. Add water to half cover. Bring to a boil. Cover. Simmer 10 minutes. Drain. Cool slightly and separate into flowerettes. Melt butter in skillet. Saute onion and garlic. Add tomato sauce, salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil. Add flowerettes. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer over medium-low heat until cauliflower if fork tender (15-20 minutes). |
