PEPPER STEAK WITH MUSHROOMS 
1 lb. sirloin steak, cut into 1/4 inch thick 2 inch long strips
2 large green peppers, sliced
2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced thick
1 med. onion, coarsely chopped
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. garlic
1 tbsp. butter

Melt butter in frying pan. Stir in peppers, onions and garlic. Cook 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Add soy sauce, mushrooms and brown sugar. Cook 5 more minutes. Add steak. Cook 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat, cover and let simmer for 5 minutes. Serve over rice.
