CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE BROWNIES 
1 (4 oz.) pkg. sweet cooking chocolate
2 tbsp. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 (3 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Melt chocolate and butter; cool. In bowl beat together 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla; gradually add 3/4 cup sugar. Beat until thick and lemon colored. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to egg mixture. Beat well. Blend chocolate mixture and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts; set aside.

Cream together softened cream cheese and 1/4 cup sugar until fluffy. Blend in 1 egg and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Spread half of the chocolate mixture in a greased and floured 8"x8"x2" baking pan. Pour cheese mixture over; top with remaining chocolate mixture. Swirl layer to marble. Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool. Cut into squares. Makes 16 brownies.
