CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE CUPCAKES 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. semi sweet chocolate pieces
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1/3 c. oil
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat together cream cheese, eggs, 1/3 cup sugar, 1/8 teaspoon salt then add chocolate pieces. Set aside. Sift together next 5 ingredients. Add water, oil, vinegar and vanilla.

Fill muffin cups 1/3 full of chocolate batter. Drop 1 heaping teaspoon of cream cheese mixture in center of each (close to a tablespoon). Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Makes 18 muffins.
