CHOCOLATE CREAM - CHEESE
CUPCAKES
 
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 unbeaten egg
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. water
1/3 c. oil
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix first 4 ingredients well, then add chocolate chips and mix. Set aside. Mix flour, 1 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, cocoa and soda. Add the water, oil, vinegar and vanilla. Mix well. Fill cups 1/2 full of chocolate cake mixture. Add 1 1/2 teaspoons (or more) of cream cheese mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes about 18 cupcakes.
