CARAMEL APPLE COFFEE CAKE 
2 cans buttermilk biscuits
1 stick melted butter
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 apple
Mixture of: 2 tbsp. sugar and 2 tsp. cinnamon

Melt butter in bowl. Measure brown sugar and corn syrup adding to butter and blend. Pour mixture into bottom of 9 x 13 inch greased pan. Chop nuts and sprinkle over top. Slice apple into very thin pieces and spread pieces over top the nuts. Dip each biscuit in the cinnamon-sugar mixture, (one side only). Place sugared side down over apple slices, covering completely. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon sugar over all.

Bake at 375 degrees for 18-20 minutes. Remove from oven and invert on warmed platter. Let sit for 30 seconds, then lift off pan.
