APPLE COFFEE CAKE 
1/2 c. soft butter
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sour cream
2 c. peeled, cored, chopped apples

Grease 13x9x2 inch pan. Mix butter and sugar. Mix in eggs and vanilla; beat well. Stir in flour, soda, baking powder and salt alternately with sour cream. Fold in apples. Pour into pan.

TOPPING:

1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 tbsp. soft butter
1 tsp. cinnamon

Sprinkle topping evenly over batter in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes.
