6 qts. cucumbers, diced 12 med. onions, diced 3 green peppers, diced 1/2 c. salt Soak above for 4 hours. Drain well. 1 1/2 qt. vinegar 2 tsp. turmeric 1 tbsp. mustard seed 1 tsp. celery seed Bring vinegar mixture to a boil. Add 1 large jar of red mangoes. Let simmer for 10 minutes. Add to pickle mixture and then can. |
