MARIAN'S CIDER FRAPPE 
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. apple cider
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1 1/4 c. orange juice

Combine sugar and water, simmer without stirring for 3 minutes. Cool. Combine fruit juices and sugar water. Pour into a freezer tray. Freeze until mushy. Serve in chilled sherbet glasses, garnish with mint or a cherry. Serves 6. Excellent as a first course at holiday meals.
