APRICOT NUT BREAD | |
1 jr. size apricot baby food with tapioca 1 c. cooking oil 2 c. sugar 3 eggs, slightly beaten 2 tsp. baking soda 1 c. buttermilk 2 1/2 c. + 1 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. chopped nuts Mix baby food, oil and sugar; add eggs. In separate bowl, combine soda with buttermilk; set aside. Combine flour, salt and cinnamon. Add dry ingredients and buttermilk, alternately to first mixture. Mix in vanilla and nuts. Pour into 2 well greased bread pans. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake another 30 minutes. |
