CARROT BREAD | |
2 c. sugar 1 c. cooking oil 4 eggs 3 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 2 c. grated carrots 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1 tbsp. cinnamon 1 tbsp. vanilla or rum or brandy Cream sugar and oil. Add one egg at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift dry ingredients together. Stir into egg mixture. Add carrots and nuts. Pour into two loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. |
