WORLD'S GREATEST TURKEY
CASSEROLE
 
3 c. cooked rice
1 c. diced onion
6 stalks celery, thinly sliced
Salt & pepper to taste
1 sm. jar chopped pimentos
2 cans mushroom soup
4 c. cooked, diced turkey
1 green pepper, cut in short strips
1 lg. can mushrooms, drained
1 1/2 c. grated mild cheddar cheese
1 c. almonds, slivered & toasted

Place layer of rice in large casserole. Add layer of turkey, then layer of vegetables. Season. Spread on a layer of soup. Repeat. Sprinkle with cheese, pimentos and almonds. Bake, covered, for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Uncover and bake for 15 minutes longer. Use 10 x 14 inch pan. Serves 16.
