ST. LOUIS SPICY GLAZED WING SAUCE (LIKE SCHNUCK'S)
1 lb brown sugar 2 cups FRANK'S® Red Hot sauce or any other Buffalo sauce 1/2 cup melted butter This sauce is best served over breaded deep fried chicken wings. But may be used over any BBQ style meat. It tastes so sweet and you can hardly pick up a hint of heat from the hot sauce. Many folks mistakenly call it honey BBQ; but now you know the secret. Spicy Glazed Wings were voted #1 in the St. Louis River Front Times as sold at Schnuck's. This recipe is as close as it gets to their secret recipe. Combine all ingredients and simmer over low heat or microwave. The sauce will turn from red to brown and thicken as the sugar carmalizes. This sauce will keep for months refrigerated. Enjoy!!!
