CHOCOLATE ICE BOX DESSERT 
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
2 squares bitter chocolate

Cook in double boiler until smooth, add 4 egg yolks. Cook one minute; set aside to cool. 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. powdered sugar

Cream butter, add sugar, add first mixture. Add vanilla, 4 beaten egg whites. Line pan with split lady fingers. Add mixture, then lady fingers, etc. Top all with whipped cream, nuts and cherries.
