PORK MARINADE
1 can (6 oz.) pineapple juice
1/2 c. soy sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
About 3 1/2 lbs. pork spare ribs or pork loin

In a jar with a tight fitting lid, combine all ingredients except ribs. Shake well. Pour over ribs. In refrigerator, marinate, turning occasionally, for several hours or overnight before grilling.

If using a gas grill, preheat on high for 10 minutes. Drain ribs; set aside marinade. Reduce flame to low. Grill ribs, turning to brown evenly and brushing frequently with marinade, until ribs are well done, about 1 1/2 hours. Makes about 4 servings.

Pork Marinade

 Debra Bourgeois (New Hampshire) says:
This marinade is OK. Word of caution, NEVER use the marinade that you took the raw meat from! You need to heat it on the stove first. Bring the marinade to a boil and let it cook a couple of minutes. Otherwise just toss the marinade.
