BROCCOLI CHEESE PIE | |
1 lb. ground beef 2 tbsp. flour 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 1 (3 oz.) cream cheese 1 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped broccoli, cooked and drained 2 pkg. crescent rolls 4 oz. Monterey Jack cheese 1/4 c. chopped onion 3/4 tsp. salt 1 1/4 c. milk 1 beaten egg In skillet, brown ground beef and onion and drain fat. Stir in flour, salt and garlic salt. Add milk and cream cheese. Cook and stir until mixture thickens and smooth. Add a little mixture to beaten egg and return to pan. Cook and stir over medium heat until thick. Stir in broccoli. Put crescent rolls in pie pan. Put filling in and then spread Monterey Jack cheese on top. Place second package crescent rolls on top. Cut steam slit. Brush top of crescent rolls with milk. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. If crescent rolls brown too quickly, cover with foil the last 20 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. |
