1 pkg. Betty Crocker German chocolate cake mix 1 sm. can evaporated milk (1 1/3 c.) 3/4 c. butter 1 pkg. Kraft caramels (50) Chopped nuts Mix 3/4 cup melted butter and cake mix and milk. Pat 1/2 in 9 x 13 inch greased cake pan. Bake 6 minutes at 350 degrees. Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk. On partially baked cake sprinkle 6 ounce chocolate chips and chopped nuts. Pour caramel over. Spread rest of cake mixture over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. |
