"MY MOTHERS" MACARONI SALAD 
Cook and drain 1 pound macaroni. 2 stalks of celery 1 lg. carrot Salt, pepper, and celery seed to taste

DRESSING:

3 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour, put into sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard

Stir together and add 2 cups boiling water. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Stir in 1 1/2 teaspoon butter. Cool and mix to cooked pasta, shredded celery, and carrot. Chop hard boiled eggs. Stir into pasta and chill well before serving.
