SWEET AND SOUR CABBAGE 
1 cabbage, shredded
1 lg. onion, minced
1 apple, peeled, cored, and chopped
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. caraway seeds
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. bacon fat or 4 slices bacon, chopped
3/4 c. water
Pork Roast

Layer in pot; cover and cook on medium on top of stove and stir. Place pork roast in center of pot. Finish in 325 degree oven or on top of stove. Cook until roast falls apart.
