CREAM CHEESE PUFF PASTRIES | |
1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm puff pastry dough 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 egg 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. almond extract 1 egg white 2 tbsp. water 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar Take 1 sheet of pastry dough from box and let thaw. Roll out thin on floured surface. Cut in 4 inch squares. Mix cream cheese, egg, sugar and extract. Put 1 tablespoon cheese mixture on center of each square. Fold opposite corners of 2 sides to the middle and secure with pat of water. Mix egg white and water. Brush on pastry. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Mix powdered sugar and cream until drizzle consistency. Drizzle on pastries. |
